Mobile Media Converter

The Mobile Media Converter is a free video and audio converter for converting between popular desktop media formats like MP3, Windows Media Audio (wma), Ogg Vorbis Audio (ogg), Wave Audio (wav), MPEG video, AVI, Windows Media Video (wmv), Flash Video (flv), QuickTime Video (mov) and commonly used mobile devices/phones formats like AMR audio (amr) and 3GP video. Also, iPod/iPhone and PSP compatible MP4 video are supported.

An integrated YoutTube downloader is available for direct downloading and converting to any of these formats. Also, you can trim your clips for ringtone creation or any other purpose and crop your videos for removing up/down black bars or other unwanted parts of the image.

The program has a very easy-to-use and simple GUI (Graphical User Interface) that helps even the most amateur user. Most of the times, the only data that you must enter is the input file(s) or just drag 'n' drop the input file(s)! The 3GP and AMR formats are used by mobile phones for MMS, video and sound recordings, etc.

Q: How do i trim/crop?
A: Just add the files you want to trim or crop. Then right click on the selected file and select the operation you want. Make the changes you want and select OK. The trimming/cropping will be applied when you click "Convert".

Q: Why don't you make a 64-bit version available?
A: Unfortunately, there is not way to do this because RealBASIC, in which MMC is written, does not produces 64-bit executables. You can install MMC on your 64-bit Debian-based Linux by using the command "sudo dpkg --force-architecture -i ./mmc_1.4.2_i386.deb".

Q: Where is the source code?
A: Just go to the download page and select to the Source Code link.

Q: My phone supports a different resolution than the 3GP videos that MMC produces.
A: Just select 3GP video, click on the “More” configuration button and in the Video Size text box enter the desired resolution in the following format: 123x123.

Q: How do i play 3GP videos and AMR audio on my computer?
A: On Windows platform you may use Apple QuickTime. On Linux you may use the Real Player or Helix
